At Northfield, We’re Making a Difference Every Day
As a LEED Silver certified property, Northfield Stapleton, and many of our shops and restaurants, have made a commitment to keeping our earth beautiful. In one year, Northfield recycled 396.8 tons of materials. These efforts conserved:
- Enough freshwater to meet the daily needs of more than 772 Americans.
- Enough power to meet the annual electricity needs of over 128 homes.
- Enough fuel to heat and cool more than 572 homes for a year.
- Enough gas for Americans to drive 166,768 miles.
- Enough trees to produce more than 52 million sheets of newspaper.
- Enough landfill space to meet the disposal needs of 2,011 Americans for one year.
